Some reputations are inherited, some are earned. James’ one is… both.
A force of nature, he was dropped into the paper business by birth: from the family business of RA & OLLY, where he spent his teen years making the morning newspaper runs, all the way to his own grandad running several newsstands in the city… The path was written.
Dropping his aspiring stunt man career (!), James has since then lived by his mantra: Print is NOT dead. His relentless quest to defend smaller titles has since then been his professional and moral compass, guiding every venture he’s taken on since. The partnership with News & Coffee in the UK, starting in London with 2 openings this year, is a perfect match, giving him the platform to materialize further his vision.
